Operator voicemail is worst than the 80s answering machines!

“Voicemail is a big frustration for many people as it has simply been neglected by mobile carriers for almost two decades! Instead, they have concentrated on delivering innovation elsewhere (3G, mobile internet etc). This is why I set up my business (HulloMail) as I felt that voicemail needed to catch-up with the times. Today, people expect voicemail to be as flexible as any other form of digital communication, and there’s no reason why this can’t happen. Voicemail needs to be instant and also accessible where ever you might be, whether you’ve access to the web, email or mobile. Plus, it needs to be free and can be used across all carriers. This is how I believe people prefer to interact in today’s digitally-driven world. Wouldn’t you agree?” Andy Munarriz CEO, HulloMail

I'd just like to say "thanks" for HulloMail. I'm a committed HulloMail user and I seem to spend loads of time demoing it to friends and work colleagues (who all love it too). The only thing I want now is a "paid for" business version!

I work as IT manager for my company and I also act as IT support for a few friends companies. All of these use Google Apps (at my recommendation) and I'd love to fully integrate all the communications technologies into one "whole". HulloMail is one piece of that puzzle (all it needs is a central admin and deployment via Google Apps).

Lastly, if you could add SMS message integration as well that would be the icing on the cake.

Hullo Edinburgh Dad,

Thanks for your comments. We are looking at extending our Google Apps Mail and Contacts to include what you are suggesting.

We've had a few requests for SMS integration is bit more complicated and to do it smartly requires some further network integration. Hopefully as we build momentum we could one day soon be available from your friendly local mobile operator :)

cheers
